Whitney Houston Tribute at BET Awards (Videos)

The BET Awards show tribute to the amazing Whitney Houston is just the latest in a long list of amazing tributes to honor a fabulous woman and singer. It was quite a night in Los Angeles last night with the fabulous BET Awards. Although there were a number of outstanding performances what clearly made the evening was the tribute to Whitney Houston. Seriously the collaboration between Cissy Houston, Mariah Carey, Monica and Brandy just to name a few was spectacular. There was not a dry eye in the house when Whitney?s mom Cissy belted out an amazing version of ?Bridge Over Troubled Water? in honor of her daughter. Mariah Carey kicked off the tribute talking to the audience about her friendship with Houston and just how much she missed her dear friend. I was bawling at that point I have to be honest with you. Then you had Monica singing I Love The Lord,” Brandy belting out two? of Whitney?s biggest hits “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and “I’m Your Baby Tonight.? There was also Chaka Khan lighting up the stage with “I’m Every Woman.” Whitney?s brother Gary Houston also performance and she was honored by her ?Waiting To Exhale? [...]
