The Western Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction has elected board officers and directors for the 2011-2012 year.
The officers are: Kathy Chiono, Eagle Construction and Pine Country, president; Elaine Harris, Bank of Colorado, vice president; Alice Lobato, Nick Lobato Carpenter/Builder, treasurer; and Mitzi Kenyon, Overhead Door, secretary. Wanda Graham of Bighorn Consulting Engineers is immediate past president. The directors are Nancy Lazenga, San Juan Construction, and Lisa Tonsfeldt, Golden West Accounting Services.
An international professional association, NAWIC promotes the success of women in the construction industry through networking and educational events.
