Pilot sick-out disrupts Caribbean airline flights

(AP) ? Caribbean airline LIAT says all of its pilots have called in sick, likely disrupting all of Tuesday's flights.

The pilots are protesting the firing of a captain for undisclosed reasons.

The airline says in a statement that travelers will be allowed to rebook for free within a week of their scheduled trip. Those who cannot reschedule will receive full credit for future travel.

LIAT serves 21 destinations across the Caribbean. It is based in Antigua and its shareholders include the governments of Antigua, Barbados and St. Vincent.
