STATESVILLE ? EnergyUnited recently named Natasha A. Suber its new communications manager. Suber and her husband, Darryl, live in Cornelius.

As communications manager, Suber is responsible for implementing a member-employee-regional communications strategy for EnergyUnited. Prior to joining EnergyUnited, Suber served as director of communications at Misenheimer-based Pfeiffer University. She has also served as media relations supervisor and as a district spokeswoman for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools and held similar communications positions at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and UNC Greensboro. Suber also worked as a prize-winning reporter for the Salisbury Post and Daily Courier in Forest City.

EnergyUnited serves more than 120,000 electricity customers in 19 N.C. counties, stretching from Virginia to northern Mecklenburg County.
